(30:31-38:09) – Rake shifts his conversation towards the Indianapolis Colts after receiving a call from a listener asking why the Colts don’t follow the blueprint of the Indiana Pacers by running back Jeff Saturday and Sam Ehlinger for one more season and then take a QB in the following draft if the Colts aren’t able to get their guy this season. (38:09-49:10) – Rake closes out the first hour of the show by turning to IndyStar’s Kyle Neddenriep to break down the landscape of high school hoops, how Ben Davis and Cathedral have already set themselves apart from the rest of the schools, and how his son’s high school basketball season is going. (49:10-1:09:19) – Pacers beat reporter from Fieldhouse Files and 1075thefan.com in Scott Agness joins Greg Rakestraw on the show to break down the likelihood that Myles Turner could sign an extension with the Pacers despite all the trade rumors, what kind of moves he could see the Pacers making as the trade deadline approaches, and All-Star game voting for the NBA isn’t representative of how the voting should go. (1:09:19-1:23:01) – Rake shares an update on how Damar Hamlin is doing, goes through all the possible scenarios that must happen for the AFC Championship game to be moved to a neutral site to Indianapolis possibly, and recounts the last time that a divisional winner did not host a playoff game in the NFL.
