(00:00-28:25) – Query & Company opens on a Tuesday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the comments made by the Mike Woodson this morning pertaining to his future and how the Hoosiers attempted to replace Jalen Hood-Schifino by landing a guard in the transfer portal. Finally, Jake goes on a rant about what the problem is right now with IU basketball fans. (28:25-46:46) – Butler Radio analyst Nick Gardner joins the program to dissect the recent struggles for the Butler Bulldogs, highlights a couple players that are playing really well right now that could result in a conference tournament run if everyone is firing on all cylinders, explains how Thad Matta has been able to build off his first year coaching, and believes that the people at Butler are operating with a chip on their shoulder to routinely compete in the Big East. (46:46-47:09) – Hour one concludes quickly with Jake previewing the second hour of the show. (47:09-1:13:34) – Lafayette Journal & Courier’s Sam King makes his first appearance on the program with Jake Query & Jimmy Cook to share his perspective on the loss to Ohio State. He doesn’t believe Sunday’s loss will linger and that losing to Farleigh Dickinson last season was the best thing to happen Purdue’s team to help them this season. Finally, he shares some of his favorite baseball stadiums that he’s visited. (1:13:34-1:33:27) – Earlier in the program, Jake and Jimmy shared their thoughts on where things are at right now with Indiana underneath Mike Woodson. They get into a debate as to the lack of a guard is impacting the success for this team. Additionally, Jake believes that Bruce Pearl would come to Indiana if the job opened up and IU made an offer towards Pearl to leave Auburn. (1:33:27-1:36:00) – The one o’clock hour concludes Jake discussing the poll that he put up on Twitter pertaining to how many laps people watched in the Daytona 500 yesterday. (1:37:44-2:09:00) – Stephen Holder, ESPN.com’s Indianapolis Colts beat reporter, is back from vacation discussing the likelihood that the Colts use the franchise tag on Michael Pittman Jr. Also, Holder shares if he sees any avenue in which Chris Ballard uses the franchise tag on any other impending free agent, if the anticipates Ballard addressing offensive weapons in the draft or free agency, and if has heard anything since last week regarding the health of Jim Irsay after tweeting a week ago. (2:09:00-2:16:56) – Jake, Jimmy, and Eddie continue the franchise tag discussion by having Eddie explain the difference of the three tags that the Indianapolis Colts could place on Michael Pittman Jr. (2:16:56-2:20:57) – Today’s show ends with the JCook Plays of the Day and Jake taking another jab at Eddie.
