And it's been like classic baseball the last two days, where you guys just beat the crap out of the Brewers on Monday, 17 to 3, and all that went into that game hit all the home runs. Position pitchers pitching Andrew Vaughn on the mound, and then yesterday you lose nine to four to the Brewers. Is that just baseball?
Yeah, it's just baseball. I think we did you know, we did such a good job. That that first game of the series of you know, jumping on On him early and and keeping the lead and just adding on and adding on and um you know, last night Able to get that lead and and uh put ourselves in a position, just couldn't quite hold on to it, couldn't quite, um, you know, keep adding on to that lead and that's just just part of it. Their bullpen did a good job of kinda keeping it in a spot that was reasonable and then um, you know, they were able to make some good swings there late in the game.
Yeah, Kyle Harrison was pretty interesting after his start in in that first game on Monday because he talked about how he did think he was probably tipping his pitches and mentioned a spot on his jersey where where you might have been looking at a spot in his jersey to indicate what he was throwing. And it's not very often that a starting pitcher of that caliber w is willing to admit what his tip is, but I know you guys are always looking for that as hitters.
Yeah, I mean everybody's trying to to gain an advantage, you know, I I I wasn't I wasn't in there playing in that game, so um you know, that that's it's part of the game and I think our guys did a good job of of getting to him and and hitting the balls out of the park. What a swing by Tyrone Taylor early in that game, which was which was awesome.
Yeah, and he had another another big hit last night as well. But you know what, I we probably asked you this the last time this occurred, because it is the second time this year that a position player has come in to pitch multiple innings against you guys, and it was Andrew Vaughn this time around.
