Chapter 1: What does it mean to finish the year strong?
hello hello everyone and welcome back to saved not soft what's going on everybody it's a happy day it's almost christmas and i'm so hyped absolutely hyped christmas is my favorite time of year i love to rap i love not like poots and cats but like
i love wrapping presents because i'm just such an aesthetic girl this year i should have brought one my presents are green on green like an emerald green with a velvet green green ribbon my god it is so beautiful and so that has nothing to do with what i'm talking about today i was just thinking of christmas i'm excited i love giving to people and
And today we're filming a podcast and this was not on my agenda for today and quite honestly for the rest of the year. But I believe the Lord has given me a word to share before the year ends going into 2025. And if you do not know who I am, my name is Emmy Moore. I'm the host of Save Not Soft. Basically, this podcast is navigated to let y'all know that you are heard, loved, and seen by God.
You are valuable, you are important, and God has his compassion in his eyes upon you. Amen. Today, I don't really have that much of an agenda. I really just wanted to bring the transparency of the gospel to y'all and also what it's going to look like walking into 2025, things we need to leave in 2024, and how to finish strong. Yeah, I don't know where this podcast is gonna go.
I just knew the Lord was telling me to come and sit down and do it before this new year ends and before God has this podcast transition into a new season. For those who are watching on YouTube, You got a cute little camera. We got a cute little camera for you. And it's so exciting because my old camera had for like two and a half years. She's been great.
She desperately needed an upgrade because it was doing all sorts of damage on me. So we got a new camera by the grace of God. And this next season that the Lord has me going into, just even apart from ministry, like the fact that I'm a fiance and going to be a wife halfway through 2025 is insane for me to think about.
So with the change of how God is moving through my life, there's also going to be some changes. great changes to this ministry. That's not like a, Hey, we're going to try to take this to the next level. Do all these theatrics. Like not, we're still doing the podcast from the bedroom. You see it. I just switched a few things around and got a new camera. Um,
And we're keeping everything, for the most part, the same. It's just a matter of implying rest and stepping back in certain areas. Speaking, not as if this hasn't been happening, but like... Really empathizing and embracing Jesus. And God has really put on my heart for the word that he gave me for next year, which I'm not going to release it just yet because you'll hear it next season.
But man, the Lord has been wrecking me in my secret space. I'm talking like laid out flat in glory. And even things that aren't super profound. I think sometimes we think I have to get this new, fresh, divine revelation in order for me to be wrecked by God's glory. And the other night in this very room, actually, I was watching a TikTok video, out of all things, in the corner of this room.

Chapter 2: How can we prepare for the new year spiritually?
talking about how whenever Isaiah had this vision of God calling him as a prophet, Isaiah was quite literally stunned with glory. He was just wrecked by the presence of God. And he is bowing down at the presence of God. And he's saying, for I am in iniquity. And even if I didn't commit this iniquity, my neighbors are in sin. The world I'm in is in sin. Like God cleansed me for I'm not worthy.
And God cleansed him and gave him a mission and sent him out. And I think a lot of us want to be sent out for the things of God, but we won't have a heart like Isaiah and be purified through our humility and allow God to consult us and comfort us and confront us in certain areas where we need to be healed because God is not going to send you out if you have an unrepentant heart.
When we see the story of Isaiah in Isaiah 6, it's
isaiah understands his condition that he's in sin and even if he wasn't in iniquity and if he wasn't the one fully partaking in disobedience then he understood that the world that he was in was sinful that he was far from god because of the separation of sin and god wasn't able to ordain isaiah as a prophet until isaiah first came to the heart of god in repentance
And sometimes people want to be sent out or God sent me out for 2025 and make, and make me a minister to all the nations, elevate my podcast and my platform, my TikTok, this and, and, and, and give me a higher promotion in my church and whatever it may be. And it's like, God's not going to exalt you if you won't even humble, humble yourself.
And one of the things I've learned from God is that if you fail to humble yourself, he will absolutely humble you. And I think there's a lot to learn from humility and from being quiet and being quick to listen. I believe Gen Z and this new mainstream Christianity is striving for very vainest things that's just wrapped and clothed in this demon of vanity.
Like it should be our desire to live a quiet life. And if God does call you to the stage and if he does call you to the podcast or to the platform or to the nations or in front of your church or leading a small group or whatever it may be, like let it be. Be from a place of obedience and humility, not from a place that's in vain, not from a place that just wants to be heard, seen and recognized.
Because the reason as to why Isaiah was so known and why he is one of the most famous prophets of all time wasn't because he wanted to exalt himself, but because he was a willing vessel to allow God to exalt himself. himself, God himself through Isaiah, like Isaiah wasn't glorified. God was glorified through Isaiah.
And so the question is how many of us are actually willing to partner with God to fulfill his, his will and not ours. And I believe the best way any of us can step into 2025 is stepping into the will of God. Matthew 6, 33 all day.
