Le Forze armate israeliane hanno una sezione famosa che si chiama Unità 8200. Quelli che ci lavorano si occupano di sorveglianza e, a volte, della raccolta di materiali compromettenti su qualcuno, da usare poi per boicottare questo qualcuno. Dal 2020 la sorveglianza digitale della popolazione palestinese in Cisgiodania è cresciuta moltissimo: i droni e le telecamere intelligenti spiano e raccolgono immagini a strascico. Tutti questi occhi sono collegati a un grande database che si chiama Blue Wolf – lupo azzurro. I soldati israeliani questo sistema lo chiamano “Il (vero) Facebook dei palestinesi”.
