El Trementinal è una minuscola comunità dove comincia l’Argentina a nord est. Ed è in mezzo alla giungla. È a ridosso di un fiume che è anche un confine: di qua è Argentina, di là è Bolivia. A El Tremential però hanno un grande problema: se la popolazioneha una qualsiasi esigenza.. tipo fare la spesa, o chiamare un’ambulanza che porti uno in ospedale, il centro abitato più vicino è a 60 chilometri. Ma per raggiungerlo non c’è una strada: non c'è neanche una di quelle carretere contorte che permettono di inoltrarsi nella giungla per andare da un punto a un altro, non c’è niente.
