L’invasione russa dell’Ucraina ha causato problemi anche alle organizzazioni criminali. Per esempio ucraini e russi prima della guerra erano in società, sotto la loro gestione il porto di Odessa era diventato uno snodo cruciale anche per un ecosistema criminale internazionale che va dalle Ande all’Afghanistan. Con lo scoppio della guerra gli ucraini hanno tradito i russi e, come il resto della popolazione, oggi li combattono. Questo ha conseguenze serie per il crimine mondiale.
