Leah Thomas, who first interned as a recruiter for Confluent, quickly realized that she was enamored with the problem solving the engineering team was doing, especially with Kafka Streams. The next time she joined Confluent's intern program, she worked on the Streams team and helped bring KIP-450 to life.
