Es ist 486 AD. Das westliche Römer-Empire hat sich komplett verbreitet. In Gaul, der heutige Frankreich, ist das Territorium zwischen Visigoths, Burgundiern, Bretons und einem römerischen Rumpfstaat genannt, das Königreich von Soissons. Das Königreich war eine Figur namens Seagrius. Aber jetzt ist Seagrius' Regierung unter Bedrohung. Sein kräftiger Nachbar im Osten hat ihn zum Kampf gebracht.
Ein neuer, auf der europäischen Bühne wachsender König. Sein Name war Clovis, König der Franken und ein Mann, der die westliche Europa transformieren wollte. It's the Ancients on History Hit.

Es gibt einen Bischof namens Vita Savien, der zu Clovis schreibt.
Und es gibt eine Figur in Ostrogothischer Italien, Cassiodorus, der zu Clovis schreibt. Aber die Gründe für Clovis sind primär Gregory. Now, that causes a huge problem because Gregory's Clovis is A construct.
Because Gregory is a Catholic bishop and because, according to Gregory, the Franks do well basically because they're the first Catholic people and because Clovis is the first Catholic ruler, Gregory constructs a history of Clovis as a convert who wins all his battles after his conversion.

Es ist viel zusätzlicher als das. Ich meine, was Gregory tut, ist, dass er Clovis einen 30-jährigen Regen gibt. Und er dividiert diesen Regen in fünf-jährige Blöcke. Clovis kommt also zum Thron in 481. Er hat seine erste große Sieg in 486 gegen Seagrius, dem Sohn von Aegidius, dem römischen General. Dann, supposierterweise in 501, wird Clovis mit den Burgundianern verfeuert.
506, er verfeuert die Alamanni. 511, er stirbt. Das ist Gregorys Schema. Und weil er all die Gewinne, die nach Clovis' Konversion kommen, will, stellt er die Konversion in 4-9-6 ein, als Clovis die Alamanni kämpft. Nun, es gibt ein großes Problem mit der Geschichte von Clovis gegen den Alemanni, weil, laut Gregory, das ist der große Sieg gegen den Alemanni.
