The lyrics to Beyonce’s “Jolene” was a little more aggressive than Dolly Parton’s version. She put a a spin on the classic song by daring Jolene to try her instead of begging her to leave her man alone. I think both versions are great and I enjoyed the entire Cowboy Carter album. I think it’s the greatest album of all-time!
