Is there an epidemic against literature? More specifically, black literature. I'm Jack Queest Peace Thomas, and on this season of the Black Lits podcast, we're outside asking why. They don't want a whole bunch of little elevators, Michael Max's, and Martin Luther King's running around. And when you look at a lot of different cultures, they're like you need to know where you came from. And considering this is Black Reading Month, the only real question is, what are you reading next? Listen to Black Liv from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.

So on the Bobbycast this weekend, I have her name is Katherine Loftus and she is an attorney, prose uh former prosecutor in Massachusetts and still an attorney, but had her on talk about the Lindsay Clancy case. 'Cause she's in it. She's up there living it. And talked about that and Obviously it was a mistrial and we talked about if she were the defense what she would do the same and different, if she were the prosecution, what she'd do same and different. It's really interesting because she never gave an opinion on if she thought that she should have been found guilty. Also is interesting because in Massachusetts, when you go to court, especially with like first degree murder, it's either you go to jail for murder or you're completely off.
Russell Dickerson 3:33
There's no middle. We're in a lot of other states or second degree or th y there is a way. So that's the bobby cast this weekend with her. Wow. I was super interested. Mm-hmm. That case is wild. Wild. Sad, wild, crazy, all of it. Mhm. So you guys can Can can see that if you want. If the United States collapsed, okay, f follow me here. And you can't go Canada or Mexico. What country is now your new country that you pledge allegiance to?
