Hey, everybody, a few fun updates for you before we get to the show. As for the music that I've been putting at the end of this podcast since I took over, I've been trying to pick songs, have little Easter eggs for you guys. It's been something that I've really enjoyed. It's fun. I've also been doing this like three and a half years now, and I'm running out of fun picks, and I've got a lot of shit happening in my life. And so um, what I did instead a couple months ago is re- shout to some artists that I've taught spoken to in the past or or featured in the past to see if we could just license their songs and use them repeatedly at the end of the show. Orville Peck, The War on Drugs, MJ Lenderman shout out to them are allowing us to use some of their songs.
Tim Miller 1:25
I'm working on some others as well that we can add. From time to time I'll still you know, pick a little teaser for you guys, um, because I have fun doing it. But this way, uh, that takes a little burden off me. Also, there's the playlist that I was creating that I kind of stopped updating this summer. At some point I'll have a boring day and I'll go back in time and update the playlist, but it doesn't have kind of like the last two months of songs. So I'm sorry about that. But we've got some great and I think kind of cheeky tunes uh that we'll now be ending the episodes with and the Appreciate Orville and and uh MJ and uh the War on Darks for letting us do that. We also have uh just on the event in Springfield, so overwhelmed by the response that we've had, you can go to the book.com slash events.
Tim Miller 2:08
Uh we've already sold hundreds of tickets uh to the event in Dayton, actually, the Springfield benefit. We will also, for people who can't make it, uh, you know, be putting up some links uh where you can donate to the groups that we're gonna be supporting the nonprofits in the community. Uh we are gonna kind of sell out the first round of tickets, I think, in in Dayton, which is pretty amazing. Uh so it's Friday night. Come hang out with us if you're anywhere near uh the Bulwark.com slash events. It's gonna be a meaningful night. We also have some new merch that I've been agitating for for a while. I wore last night my capitalist wing of Antifa, the Bulwark shirt. That's on Then it's my Instagram followers really got a kick out of it.
Tim Miller 2:45
So it's up. It's on the store. We also have a woke bill crystal shirt that's at the store. That's really funny. And like and we've kind of updated the other stuff too with the new logo and and the quality of the shirts are better.

Why is Rudy Giuliani’s claim about Muslim mayoral attendance at Ground Zero controversial?

Tim Miller 2:57
We got a new hat coming. So a lot of good stuff in the store. Keep an eye on that. So there you go. Up next. It's an interesting show. It's spicy and uh I think you're going to uh appreciate it. It's media sound. Stick around.

Hello and welcome to the Bulwark Daily. I'm your host, Tim Miller. Glad to welcome back to the show, founder, CEO, and editor in chief of Zateo. We also host the weekly show Medi Unfiltered. It's Medi Austin. How are you doing, man? Good, Tim. Thanks for having me. Happy to do it. Just a little behind the curtain for people. Last week you interviewed Hunter on your show, and I was tickled by it. We'll we'll get to that maybe at the end. And so, as you know, as is my pre his crypto kingdom. That is my kind of erratic booking strategy. And I watched it, I enjoyed it, I texted you immediately, I looked at the schedule, I was like, We got an opening next Friday. Are you available? And you replied, You really want to interview me on nine eleven smiley face?
Tim Miller 4:03
And I it hadn't occurred to me, but it felt right.
