As parts of Australia begin to head back into lockdown amid the dreaded second wave of Coronavirus, here at Critical Banter we’ve gone in the opposite direction as Kush has finally left his house for the first time in months.To begin this week’s episode we discuss face masks, twitter hacks and the state of Australian TV where things get a bit personal between Kush and Rohit. Finally we end the segment with a classic chat about simps as one of the boys parks the bus and defends their actions.“Finish the Lyric” makes a somewhat triumphant return to the podcast this week after a few months in the wilderness (mainly due to Sen and Kush’s shambolic effort in the first edition of this segment). This time around, however, Rohit joins the boys and the songs are heavily catered to the boys' niche, and questionable taste in music - it was impossible for the boys to stuff this up.We end this week’s episode with a new segment, “Not All Heroes,” where we recount epic tales of unlikely heroes and individuals who have had to step up to the plate in a time of need. In this inaugural edition, Sen steals his coworker’s story of greatness in High School, before Rohit somehow tries to make himself the hero of a story regarding domestic violence.
