In this meditation, I return to the foundational form of the practice.These “recovering the form” episodes appear regularly because they serve two purposes. For those who are joining the podcast for the first time, they offer a natural place to begin. For those who have been practising for some time, they are an opportunity to return to the foundations and refresh the simplicity of the practice.We begin by gently taking our seat and allowing the body to settle into posture. The spine lengthens, the body softens, and the intention becomes very simple: to sit, to breathe, and to be present.Attention then moves to the breath. We notice how we are breathing, the coolness of the air as it enters, and the subtle movement of breath through the body.
