You know what that music means? That music means that it is 5 o'clock somewhere. No, it's 5 o'clock in the East Coast, and it's time for Lemon Live at 5. So welcome, everyone. Thank you for joining us here in Atlanta again. Big show tonight at the City Winery. Sold out. Last night was amazing. So can't wait to see the folks who are going to join us tonight, the Lemonheads, the Lemon Legends, and anyone who's part of the Lemon Nation. So thank you for your support. Let me know where you are streaming from. I already see San Francisco is in the house, so... I'm wondering where else folks are streaming. Let's see who's the furthest. Do we have anybody in? Do we have anyone in Iran? Anyone near Iran? I see Georgia, Dallas, Colorado, because we're going to talk about Iran.

But first order of business, like and thumbs up. It is important for the algorithm. Hello, Louisiana. More people become aware of our conversation and our channel. And when you hit that, it sends out to the universe that we are here today. and that we are on, and it'll send out to more people. So thank you for that. I appreciate it. Florida, Louisiana. Who else do we have? Stone Mountain, Georgia. New Hampshire. Lots of folks who are in the chat. So thank you. Someone said Geneva. Oh, wow. Okay. Well, there we go. So the reason I asked and the reason I said that is because of this. This is a story that has been brewing all day and it is breaking. So we are streaming to you tonight with some break. The Trump administration is closer to a major war.
Don Lemon 1:44
So when that thumbnail says on the brink of war, we're not effing around here. A war in the Middle East, then most of you may realize, most Americans realize it could begin very, Very soon, in days if not mere hours, today the U.S. carried out one of the largest military mobilizations of aircraft in decades, directing a historic force towards Iran, okay? U.S. military operations in Iran would likely be a massive, weeks-long campaign that would look more like full-fledged war than last month's sort of pinpoint operation in Venezuela. That's what sources are saying. Sources have told, this is a report that's from Axios and Dropsite News as well, that it would likely be a joint US-Israeli campaign that is much broader in scope and more existential for the regime than the Israeli-led 12-day war last June, which the US eventually joined to take out Iran's underground nuclear facilities.
Don Lemon 2:45
Such a war would have a dramatic influence on the entire region and major implications for the remaining three years of the Trump presidency. So with the attention of Congress and the public otherwise occupied, there is little public debate about what could be the most consequential US military intervention in the Middle East in at least a decade. Donald Trump's armada has grown to include two aircraft carriers, a dozen warships, hundreds of fighter jets, and multiple air defense systems. Some of that firepower is still on its way. More than 150 U.S. military cargo flights have moved weapons systems and ammunition to the Middle East just in the past 24 hours. Another 50 fighter jets, F-35s, F-22s, F-16s, headed to the region.
Don Lemon 3:37
So this is very, Very serious stuff. There are also folks who are concerned about this, who are saying this is not necessary because I've been telling you that this would be a joint operation between the US and Israel. And there are those who are out there saying, well, what is the only people who are going to like this is Israel. Ben Rhodes is responding, writing about the reaction to the military mobilization towards Iran. This is what he's writing. He says, no legal basis and no debate in Congress about what could be a major war with a clear sense of what the objective is or what comes next. Nonstop tankers are on the move. Absolutely nuts. Let's run through it. That's from Ben Rhodes. Cenk Uygur. over at, gosh, what's Cenk's thing again?
Don Lemon 4:33
Shoot, I forgot the name. Young Turks. Oh, the Young Turks. Describes an imminent war with Iran like this. Cenk is saying reporting of the war with Iran is imminent.
