Don Lemon 0:11
Good morning, Lemon Nation. Yes, we are here. We are on time. Can you believe it? Let me know where you are. And today's show, I have no idea where it's going to go. I kind of have an idea where it's going to go, but not 100% because, look, one never knows. And we are here to talk about things that are happening right now. That's the difference between this show. This show is more about what's happening in the moment that You can learn lessons from. And so good morning. I'm so happy that you're here. Do we have a guest host today? No, it is me. It is I. No guest host. Look, I had a guest host because my aunt died. I can't not be at my aunt's funeral, especially when I'm speaking. And then if the plane is late or if I can't, then I have to have a guest host.
Don Lemon 1:00
I'm sorry. So welcome. Let me know where you guys are from. where you're streaming from, because I'd love to discuss it. We have a great guest that's going to talk to you, because here's what I want to tell you. This is what I'm just going to give you a little bit of a... to tell you what's going to happen on the show. Epstein, Epstein, Epstein. That's what's going to happen on the show. Because I believe we're back to Epstein now. No matter how much, no matter how much they try to distract you, we're back to Epstein now. So good morning, everybody. Make sure you hit the like and the thumbs up. It affects the algorithm. More people become aware of our conversation, our channel, and... And that is really important, especially in independent media, because we give it to you without the gatekeepers telling us Huntsville, Alabama, without the folks telling us New Orleans, Louisiana.
Don Lemon 1:46
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Tallahassee, Florida, Tampa, Florida. We have a lot of Florida here. We have a lot of folks who watch us from red states, believe it or not. Did someone say North Pole? It's going by so fast. Knoxville, Tennessee, everybody's here. So let me just tell you something. I just want to read something real quickly to you because I want to get to our guest who's going to be here in just a minute. Let me tell you what's happening in this country right now. Tonight, Donald Trump is going to sit down at a state dinner At the White House, King Charles, Queen Camilla, crystal glasses, fancy food, the whole production, and Epstein survivors are gathering in Washington today. They're planning to protest outside the White House tonight during the state dinner, demanding that King Charles meet with them, demanding accountability that they've been demanding this entire time, and getting nothing but silence from Buckingham Palace and from this administration as well.
Don Lemon 2:44
A different kind of silence. So let me tell you why this matters. And why they don't want you to know about it. Is that Andrew Montbatten Windsor, that's the king's brother. Prince Andrew, formerly Prince Andrew, the one who was arrested in February on suspicion of sharing confidential government documents with Jeffrey Epstein, the one whose investigation is being blocked because British police cannot get the unredacted Epstein files from Donald Trump's own Justice Department. Do you feel me? That's the connection. Those files are sitting right there in Washington, and Trump's people will not hand them over. And Trump himself just had a $10 billion defamation lawsuit thrown out last week. over a lewd birthday letter to Epstein that had Trump's name on it.
Don Lemon 3:29
The judge said that the complaint came nowhere close to the legal standard. And NPR found that the documents naming Donald Trump were withheld from the Epstein files his own Justice Department released to the public. Trump called the whole thing, of course, a Democrat hoax. So tonight at the White House, Donald Trump, whose name appears in withheld Epstein documents, is having dinner with the brother of the man whose mother was arrested over Epstein while British police cannot get the files that they need while survivors are gathering outside demanding justice. But someone is taking action and doing what a responsible journalist should be doing because she says without it, she cannot do her job.
