Chapter 1: What is discussed at the start of this section?
We had Pam on. So he takes his finger and he's got it in my face. Jake's crying, crying, crying. I go to go up the stairs to try to comfort Jake. And Greg blocked the stairs and said, you are not going up there. The way you're describing him is like he mentally abused you. Oh, yes. Absolute lie. OK, let's jump into this. Oh, you still have this from 2001? Yeah, this was a copy of it.
What brought all of this back up? For her to tell the lie that he came afterwards is a better story. And have you ever sat down with David, ever? No, I never will. Dude, you need to go forgive this man, dude. No, I'm not going to do that. See, I have no interest in forgiving him. You're giving me a lot to think about. Why wouldn't you take advantage of that? I don't believe I have a truth.
I just believe there is a truth. What's up, guys? Welcome back to the George Janko Show. Let's go. GP is in the house. Great. And he's in 24th Street in Osborne on our 24th Street Cigar Lounge. He requested to be here. Shout out. He wants to support my dad and his beautiful cigar lounge. Thank you for that. That's sick. First one here, right?
I think this is the first time we've hung out in Arizona. But first podcast in the lounge. I think second. Oh, okay. Yeah. But it's the first one with our guest. Yes. And we're going to have you sign the wall. Oh, nice. GP. Things are looking up. How have you been, bro? I'm good. I'm good. You know, moving around.
I'm spending a lot of time in Jake's place in Georgia and my place in Tarpon Springs. It's right on the water. I love it. Wake up to dolphins, manatees, paddle boarders. Dolphins? Yeah, dolphins swimming in the bayou. Wow. Manatees. We got a little squirrel that we're sitting out there having coffee, comes out every morning, gets a couple of nuts from us, hangs out with us. Yeah, it's pretty cool.
So GP is online, he's a very rugged personality. He says what he wants, he doesn't hold back, he doesn't fold. He's the type of dude that, he not only wants to fight the bear, he wants to eat the bear. Like, that's who he is. You know what I mean? Like, any other human being, like, oh, my God, it's a bear. Let's get out of here. He's like, dude, oh, my God, it's a bear. Let's get in there.
And I'm like, that's GP. Real man's man, real Ohio. Hands are dirty because he could build the house and then he lives in it. But there's a side of GP that I pray to God I get to pull out. And it's a very... in depth, deep. He looks at life in such a beautiful way. And I know that you're like your kids. You like to put on this persona, but there's a soft side of you that also lives.
And I do want to show that side. So before we get into the drama that you had with your ex-wife, I want to get the viewers to know who GP actually is. Like, where were you born? What was it like being raised by your parents? Like, I want to know this because like, I don't think that many people get to see that side of you. Well, you know,
It's hard, I have a hard time talking about myself because I'm kind of like, I think the story's boring, but it was kind of crazy. I mean, I grew up in Ohio, mom and dad divorced in third grade, and from that point forward, I was fighting and scrapping for everything. My parents were by all, what most people consider poor, always rented homes, had one car.

Chapter 2: How did Greg's childhood shape his perspective?
She goes, what'd you buy? And I said, a Corvair. And my dad always had them. They're always breaking down. And she just rolled her eyes. She was like, oh, Jesus. So we went out and looked at it in the garage. She's like, what's your plan? I go, I'm going to work on it. So when I turn 16, I have a car. So I did. I worked on it, got it running. I dropped the engine by myself.
At the time I delivered papers and the paper is morning papers called the plain dealer. So I had a paper out. I delivered papers in 90 homes every morning. And on Sundays I did like 125 homes. So I took the wagon that I had. I set the engine on it and I jacked the car up. And I kept putting blocks underneath it so I can get the engine to be lower than the body of the car.
And I pulled the engine out with my wagon. Then I had some of my buddies take the engine, set it over on the side. And then I had another Corvette that I bought for $60 that had a better engine. I took the engine out of that, put it on the wagon, pushed the wagon back underneath the car, lowered the body back down onto it, and then I had a car that was running. Yeah. That's amazing.
It was pretty cool. What did your dad think of that? Well, he wasn't around much. He knew I had the car, but he was happy I bought a Corvair because it was what he had. Yeah. But I pretty much did it on my own. What does it feel like? Listen, man, me and you have had deep conversations about you and your kids and your relationship with your kids.
And I think so much of their success is banked off of what you had to go through in life. And every time we'd be in a room and everybody's like, why are these kids just circling past us? And it's because of their work ethic. They were just absolutely destroying all of us in the work ethic. Like it wasn't even a comparison. Do you contribute your childhood trauma to like pouring into your kids?
Like, do you feel like you did a perfect job or do you feel like there were some things that you wish you kind of went back and fixed on? You know, one, I don't even like the word perfect. I think that word perfect should be removed. I think it sets up a lot of false expectations and bad hopefuls. Like women are like, oh, I want the perfect wedding.
And next thing you know, they're stressing over a flower. Get over it, man. Nobody gives a shit about your stupid freaking flowers. No, it's true, it's true. You focus so much on the unimportant things that you actually take away the whole day from yourself.
Yeah, like, you know, at weddings, they always have favors, and all the women get together and make favors, and at some point, women need to stop the madness and go, listen, ladies, these favors are stupid. Nobody gives a shit about them. Let's just not fucking do it anymore. What are favors? Like goody bags and stuff like that? Yeah, goody bags that they put out.
And, you know, then a night comes, everybody's lit and drinking wine, and they walk away, and the baggies are still there. It's, you know... This is a personal experience. Yeah, I mean, all the weddings I've gone to, you see it happening. You're like, oh, and I'm like, oh, what's in the baggies? If there's something good, I'm going to take more home.

Chapter 3: What challenges did Greg face during his marriage?
You want to go. I'm up for it. Find one you like, because if I go find one and you don't like them, then you'll be like, oh, the counselor's no good, and you can bail and blame it on the counselor. I want to remove that excuse. go get one, and then I'll go.
And at the time, she was already involved with David, and I think she thought that if she suggested to go to counseling, I would just say no, and then that'd be her easy out. Oh, he said he wouldn't go to counseling, so I left him. Well, when I said yes, I think it kind of blew her program. Okay, if we're gonna tap into this, there's a timeline difference that I'm hearing.
She's telling me that she met David after, and you're saying- Absolute lie. Okay, let's jump into this. So she knew him, but she wasn't in relationship with him yet? No, no. She was in a relationship with him before. Before she moved down, I mean, he was a large part of the reason that she decided to jump ship. She says otherwise, but, you know, I have notes here.
Like here's something that we used to have a thing called a week at a glance. And it was a paper notebook of what your schedule was. Bro, you still have this from 2001? Yeah, this was a copy of it. But in her own weekly calendar, she wrote kiss with a star next to it. Then the following week, a star with together.
And then, I don't know, a couple weeks later, there's one that said, double stars and it says big. And then it says, I love you. So I found this and I'm like, hey, what's up with this? And I was kind of suspicious of her activities. And she goes, oh, that was when my period was. I'm like, oh, so you had four periods in a month?
And then she said, Westlake Christmas party, two stars next to it with a question mark. So, you know, why she put this stuff in her weekly calendars is baffling to me. But... for her to tell the lie that he came afterwards is a better story. That's, that's the bottom line. I mean, the way I found out the way I found her is, She was going to bed at like 11 p.m.
I used to go to bed at midnight or 1 a.m. She went to bed at like 10, 30, 11. She goes, oh, can you run downstairs and get this book for me out of my book bag? Because she had a bag she'd take to work every morning. And I go down there. I get her book. And in her little bag is another book with some notes sticking out of it.
And I decided to open up these notes, and I read it, and I'm literally floored. The whole thing, she's talking about her affair. Will his kids like mine? Will I like his? Will he be a man of his word? Will he leave her? Is this the right thing? All these questions, and she would write all these notes to herself. And I saw this, and I'm like, I literally started shaking.
I was like, what is going on? So I called my friends down the street, Keith and Jeanette, and I go, hey, listen, are you guys up? I found something, and I'm freaking out. I got to come see you guys. And do you have any beers? They're like, no. And I go, all right, I'm coming by with a six-pack.

Chapter 4: How did Greg's experiences influence his parenting style?
And I just broke out crying, bawled my eyes out. I was wrecked. So... Drank two more beers. I end up going home at like 5.30. She was getting up at 6 a.m. I go in at 5.30, I crawl into bed, act like nothing happens. She goes off to work and I'm like,
wigging out I'm freaking out I'm like my life's falling apart what's going on she's banging somebody else whatever and so I contact a PI and he's like well based on what you're telling me I can I'll build a tracker I'll build a follower but you're kind of wasting your money he said history shows when you get this much information it's already happening he's like I'd recommend if you want to get phone records
maybe try to get somebody else to follow her, blah, blah. So I did that. And I had a friend of mine follow her. She was like, oh, I'm going to lunch with somebody. I had somebody follow her downtown Cleveland. And I called her and I'm like, hey, what are you doing? She's like, nothing. I'm like, where are you? And she lied about where she was. I said, who are you with? And she lied about that.
And I said, well, actually, oh, Jesus. Sorry about that, guys. I don't know how to set that thing up. Anyway, so... She lied about where she was and who she was with. And I said, well, actually, you're lying to me. I know you're here, and I know you're with another man. And she's like, no, I'm not. And I said, yes, you are, 100%.
I got somebody watching every movie you're making, and you're freaking out right now. You just left the table. And she's like wigging out because she's looking. She's like, who's here? Who's watching me? And I never told her. And that was kind of like when – Everything broke loose. Were you guys in a bad place at the time? Because she makes it seem like you were emotionally
abusing her like mentally abusing her and making her feel like she was like you know she was saying she used this example of you losing your mind over her while they're driving to go uh what was it uh sea frogs sea frogs or something like that and yeah about the gas and okay so the frog thing we actually and i have pictures of ogan jake at this frog jumping contest we actually did go to the frog jumping contest we actually stayed there and participated
In the podcast, she said that we left. That didn't happen. So during all this, Pam was lying to everybody, lying to her best friends, lying to her parents, lying to her dad, everybody. So imagine living that where your mindset is.
I don't know what the proper term is, but when you're living a life of lies and covering up and you're facing the fact that you want to start this other life with a married man who has two kids, you're not sure if it's going to work, the amount of stress on you emotionally, I don't know that you're in a clear thought process to... really remember everything the way it's happening.
So a lot of the stuff that she wrote was just her own vision. We went to the counselor. She told the counselor that she was getting a massage at this place in Rock River called Dante Lucci's. Well, Dante Lucci's didn't do massages.

Chapter 5: How did Greg's understanding of Jesus change his life?
And it was like, I had a whole new understanding on Jesus and that my relationship that I'm meant to have with him and the love that he has for me. And then not even a year later, sorry, not even a year. Don't say sorry. It's okay. my father came to visit and it was like, I was looking at a new man and that's not my doing. That's great. Thank you for sharing that. Yeah. Yeah.
I mean, and, and I only share that with you because man, I don't, I didn't go through what you went through. You know what I mean? George hasn't gone through what you've gone through. And so it's, it's easier said than done, right? To say, just forgive him.
Chapter 6: What does forgiveness mean in the context of family relationships?
Don't worry about it. But the, the, the peace and, and just the, The way that your life improves when you're able to forgive somebody that you feel like, why should I have to forgive this person is unmatched, you know, and it will fill parts of your life that you never thought could be filled.
And, you know, when it's a blood relationship, a father, an aunt, an uncle, I think I'd be more willing to do it when it's some random ass dude. Like, if he died tomorrow, I wouldn't give a single fuck. Like, I could care less. And that's understandable. And nobody's judging you for that. And if he's in the water drowning and I can toss him a buoy to save him, I'm not doing it.
That's just the way I am. And, you know, so... Like to try to offer forgiveness to somebody like that, I don't understand it.
Chapter 7: How did Logan and Jake's childhood influence their careers?
I don't know how to wrap my arms around it. It's weird. When Belle first told me about her dad, I looked at her and I said, there will be a Christmas where we're all sitting together and you're looking at your father in a different way and we'll be celebrating Christmas with him. We just had that. When I told her that, it was five years ago.
I think it only took five years because it took her five years to submit. So what we're trying to do as a pillar of salt and dirt on this earth, we're trying to explain to God why his laws of forgiveness doesn't make sense. I understand to forgive your neighbor, but Lord, this is why I feel like I shouldn't forgive. But here, I want you to say this above your understanding.
Cause you keep saying, I don't understand this. Peter was on the boat. Who's Peter? Peter's one of the disciples. He's kind of like you and I, bro. Like, realistically. When Jesus came down, he didn't choose. He's a good looking dude. Yeah, he's a very good looking dude. Let's go. He's a very good looking dude.
Chapter 8: What are the lessons learned from Jake's boxing experiences?
But what he has is a lot of rage, bro. He had a lot of anger. He had a lot of pride. He would walk around being boastful, being angry. He didn't know how to hold his emotions. He was a real man's man, bro. Like a real, real man's man. But he's standing on the boat and Jesus is standing on the water and there's a storm going and he's terrified.
But he says, but Lord, if that is you, call me to you and I will come. And so he goes, Peter, come. And so he stands on the water. And at the time, bro, you're like, yes, exactly. You're like, dude, I'm standing on water. I'm standing where I should not be. I can't understand this with my mind. Right. Peter was standing on the water and he was looking at Jesus. Everything was fine.
Then he started hearing the storm and then he turned his eyes away from God and he looked at his problems and he sunk. And then Jesus grabbed them, pulled them up. The reason why Jesus paints this beautiful story is because he was so concerned with his heart and his feelings and his agenda and his problems that that he forgot his father.
When you look at your children messing around and they're getting scared, if they ever came to you and said, dad, I'm scared about this roof above my head, I'm not gonna have it, or this meal in front, you would feel like a bad father. You'd be like, what are you talking about? Why are you worried about this? That doesn't concern you, that concerns me, I'll take care of you.
So go to your father and say, Lord, I don't understand why is George and Shauna telling me to forgive? I don't want to forgive. I do not want to forgive, Lord, but change my heart and mind if it's in your will. And then you'll move. I'm not asking you to move now. I don't ask a man to take a shower and then jump in and then come out of the shower and then get cleaned and then go to God.
God says, come as you are. He doesn't say clean up and then come to me. I wanna talk to you about Lazarus. Have you heard about Lazarus? I've heard, but I don't know who. Lazarus was Jesus' friend and he passed away. And they ask him, they go, Jesus, he's sick. Will you go save him? And he says, yeah, yeah, I'll be right there. And he waits a few days purposefully.
So they know he's dead because in the Jewish heritage, if you die, but if it's three days, you could still come back. But after five, it's like, oh, his soul is gone. So he waits purposely. Who came up with that? Jewish people. So he goes, I'm going to wait until they're dead, dead, dead, dead, dead. Okay. Then he shows up. And in the scriptures, very few times that Jesus weeps.
but it's that time. And he weeps not because the guy's dead, it's because of their lack of faith in what God could do in a dead situation. So he tells them, move the rock. He's telling the Jews. To move the rock. Can I tell you what they're asking? And let's break it down in their culture. To move the rock means that, God forbid, Jesus is wrong.
That means that he's going to have a shit afterlife. So now you have to think, okay, do I believe in God enough that I should move this rock? So they're crying while they're moving the rock. And when they move the boulder out of the way, he says, Lazarus, come out. And this man comes out that was dead.
