welcome to the hypnotist the show that gives you inside access to cutting-edge hypnosis with real clients facing genuine issues brought to you by the hypnotherapist demanded by celebrities ceos and even royalty adam cox these recordings took place live from adams clinic in london's world-famous harley street so get yourself comfortable and enjoy today's episode of the hypnotist
Hi, it's Adam here. Now, this hypnosis session uses one of my favorite metaphors for safety, security, and resilience. And it's the metaphor of a fortress, because a fortress is seen as a stronghold. It's an impenetrable place, But quite often, fortresses, if you think of fairy tale fortresses, are almost like opulent castles as well.
They can be places that are enjoyable to be, not just for protection. It uses this for a particular reason, and that is that the client didn't feel safe. They didn't feel that they were secure enough to be able to pursue some of the things that that they wanted to do.
So it uses this element of a fortress to enhance feelings of self-confidence and self-belief and uses elements that you might find in a fortress as anchors to link these suggestions. Some of you that are familiar with levels of disassociation or nested loops will recognize some of the patterns that you see or hear in this hypnosis session.
Chapter 2: How does the concept of a fortress enhance self-confidence?
It was created for an individual. Although the essence is to create feelings of self-confidence and self-belief, some of the specific suggestions would have been tailored to the client that I was working with. So just disregard any suggestions that aren't quite right for you.
hone in on the ones that are and you'll get some real value from this session and if you like the idea of working with me directly there will be a link in the description where you can take a free suitability test or see a free webinar which explains why hypnotherapy works for now though find a quiet comfortable place ideally the kind of place where you're not going to be distracted or disturbed relax and enjoy the session
take a deep breath in and as you breathe in breathe in that resourceful feeling of calm and relaxation and as you exhale just release all tension around your eyelids and eyes and notice that with your eyes closed how much easier it becomes to focus on the sound of my voice, breathing in relaxation and exhaling tension, allowing each breath to help you drift deeper and deeper.
to that place within that you've been many times an inner fortress with impenetrable walls, a safe place within and I want you to imagine that inner fortress
and with each breath you take you can feel a wave of relaxation beginning to move through your body starting at the top of your head and just allow the muscles to relax all over your face your forehead, your jaw, down into your neck and then your shoulders
imagine your arms and your legs starting to feel limp, loose and heavy, feel the ripple of relaxation going through your chest down into your gut, down through your hips, your legs, down into your feet, right down to the tip of your toes, and just imagine what it would feel like,
if there was a staircase from the sky that goes down into your fortress your fortress within and maybe it's a magical kind of staircase made of clouds or glowing light, or maybe something tangible. But as I count down from 10 to 1, I want you to imagine walking down that magnificent staircase into your inner fortress, that safe place. 10, stepping down, deeply relaxed.

Chapter 3: What specific suggestions are made for building self-belief?
Nine. Twice as deep now. Eight. All the tension leaving now. Seven. Deeper and deeper. Six. Nearly halfway there. And already so calm as you descend that magical staircase. Five.
halfway down the staircase now and then four and three each step takes you deeper relaxed and maybe you could imagine imagine that place deep within the fortress that is still and safe as four becomes three almost there now two and then one and just imagine stepping into a place of complete stillness
where absolutely nothing can disturb you a place where nothing needs to be proved where you are simply yourself and I want you to imagine somewhere in the fortress is a soft comfortable bed and just imagine relaxing
relaxing and thinking, contemplating about life, the future and challenges and as you rest there on that bed, head on the pillow deep within your fortress perhaps you can consider a certain kind of freedom that comes when the journey ahead is genuinely difficult
because when everyone expects you to struggle when the challenge is so great that others have walked away then something extraordinary becomes possible you can come to the conclusion that you have nothing to lose and everything to gain
and that is where the magic lives because sometimes when you're playing it safe when you're trying not to make mistakes and when every move is measured against fear of failure confidence can shrink but when you truly understand

Chapter 4: How does the hypnosis session guide listeners into relaxation?
that the only way to surprise everyone is to stop trying to please anyone something shifts a liberation a sense of freedom you start playing your game instead of theirs and what if that's when things begin to change
and I want you to think back now to a memory to a time when you were attacked there was an agenda motives that time when you knew something deeply a time when you had certainty in your bones
when you showed up and delivered despite the noise despite the doubt despite those who didn't believe float back to that memory observe yourself see how you were when you defied the critics defied the odds defied the doubts
defied the challenge when you can see yourself with a certain unshakable confidence let me know by nodding your head that's it, step into that version of you the part within that already has that unshakable confidence and then feel that memory
allow it to come up as a feeling in your body and maybe that unshakable confidence is there in your chest or your head or somewhere else that feeling of unshakable confidence is yours it always has been nobody gave it to you and nobody can take it away
what if your confidence isn't based on what individuals say, their doubts, their questions what if your confidence isn't built on approval or praise and certainly isn't reliant on the foundation of perfect conditions
what if your confidence is built on what you know to be true about yourself and you know more than you've been remembering lately you know what you're capable of because you've done incredible things in different places, at different times, in different conditions
you know the quality of your thinking, the power of your intuition you know the depth of your experience and you know that no difficult environment, no withering word, no impossible standard can erase what you have already become. Breathe the way you would breathe if your confidence is unshakable. Feel how you would feel if your confidence is unshakable.
Because your confidence is unshakable, not because nothing challenges you, In fact, it's encountering challenges that gave you this unshakable confidence. Resilience, creativity, and sometimes luck meant that time and time again, you could meet a challenge, you could face a doubt,

Chapter 5: What role does past experience play in developing unshakable confidence?
but what if there's another connotation what if luck isn't random not for people like you what if luck gravitates toward those who are present those who are open those who aren't so contracted by fear that they miss the moments when they arrive some people think of luck as when opportunity meets preparation a venn diagram of circumstance and competency
some of the luckiest people are hard workers but keep their eyes and ears open for the right set of circumstances to connect the dots to phrase the right message to the right person at the right time and then what looks like luck
which is the power of those trillions of neurons there in your brain, working for you, rather than against you, so that when you walk into a room with quiet confidence, when you listen with full attention, when you follow your instincts instead of suppressing them, What if you become magnetic to luck? Luck notices you.
Luck follows the person that is engaged, genuinely curious, and genuinely willing to be surprised by what's possible. I want you to imagine luck, perhaps as a color, an energy, a sensation, a feeling. So feel now that sense of openness. That sense that something good is coming, not from striving, but from alignment. Aligning your experiences, your beliefs,
your capabilities fusing with the creativity to think outside the box and sometimes when you cover more ground you increase that probability of finding good fortune you just happen to be in the right place at the right time and what if five years from now you look back at this moment in your life? what if this is the luck? what if these challenges are meant to challenge you?
to unlock something more capable and deeper within? what if you're exactly where you're meant to be? and what if these curses are blessings? what if the challenges are opportunities? trust that, the breakthrough you're working toward, the door that's about to open, that one connection that creates a ripple effect that will change everything, it's already moving toward you, deep down,

Chapter 6: How can challenges be reframed as opportunities for growth?
you know it to be true that the most difficult challenges are the most powerful opportunities because when something is genuinely hard when others have struggled and walked away success in those places doesn't just mean success it means you defied the odds it means you did something no one else could
it means you stayed when it would have been easier to leave it means you found a way when others found a wall that's not just achievement that is irrefutable evidence of something powerful deep within and that is a legacy will ripple all the way into your future. And the next time you're facing a challenge, you won't draw on the resources you're tapping into now.
Each big challenge is a stepping stone to an even bigger breakthrough. So whenever you're facing something that feels too much, too hard, unfair or too uncertain, allow your mind to consider, what if this is the one? What if this is the challenge that defines you? Not as someone who survived, but as someone who transformed what was possible.
someone that did magic and you don't have to force it you don't have to perform or pretend you simply have to show up and be yourself not the version of you you're pretending to be your true self where you trust what you know and stay open to the moment where things turn in your favor
and they will turn, and I want you to imagine yourself over the next few days and weeks, imagine you carrying a quiet certainty within you, especially in difficult meetings or challenging conversations, in the moment where someone tries to shake your belief in yourself, See that future version of you, breathing and returning to the fortress within. This unshakeable place.
Where you know who you are. Where confidence doesn't depend on conditions. Where luck is not something you chase, but something you attract.

Chapter 7: What practices can help attract luck and good fortune?
and every day in small ways, significant ways, you will start to notice this shifting, your intuition feels empowered, you communicate clearly what you're thinking, things aren't left unsaid, you feel lighter, more present, more yourself,
and at the right moments the right people, the right opportunities they notice that and they respond to that some people may have written you off wouldn't it be lovely to defy to prove those people wrong
to show yourself and them truly what you're capable of I want you to imagine leaving that bed within the fortress seeing the staircase, climbing back up the staircase back to your reality, back to your present but taking all of this unshakeable confidence the ability to magnetize and attract luck and good fortune That unshakable self-belief.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your nose. Wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes as I now count from 1 to 10 to awaken you. starting to count, 1, 2, 3, waking up, 4, 5, 6, more alert, 7, 8, open your eyes, open your eyes, 9, 10, wide awake, wide awake, wide awake, Thank you for watching.
