Michael Lynn: The ‘greedy’ former solicitor who robbed €18m from the banks

Struck-off ex-solicitor and property developer Michael Lynn has today been sentenced to five and a half years in prison for stealing €18m from six financial institutions. Lynn obtained multiple mortgages on the same properties in a situation where banks were unaware that other institutions were also providing finance.
