Why You Should Write Congress Now About American Airlines
25 Mar 2024
Zane Kerby, president and CEO of the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA), talks with James Shillinglaw of Insider Travel Report about why ASTA just launched a campaign to get travel advisors and their clients to write letters to their congressmen objecting the American Airlines’ planned change to its frequent-flyer plan that would adversely impact travel agencies. Under those changes, AA passengers would not get their AAdvantage points if they don’t book through an AA “preferred” travel agency, as approved by American.
