On November 15th 2010 Alicia Brough was killed while trying to save her friend and two children. Her killer John Geary was sentenced to four concurrent life sentences in 2013 but seven years after beginning his sentence is up for a parole hearing. Maria Dempsey mother of Alicia is campaigning for mandatory real-term 25 year sentences for killers, and Maria spoke to Pat this morning.
