And so that really muddied the water. There were a lot of Chicago politicians that thought, wait a minute, if we're really still in the fight, then why are we going to give them an opportunity to go to Arlington Heights with the tax breaks that they wanted? And then you've got the state of Indiana that says, we will give you whatever you want, firstly.
We were about buy you a stadium if we can just get things moving, get you to Hammond. But now we find out that environmentally, the footprint in the location that they like may be much smaller because it's formerly a slag heap. And so there are environmentally areas they cannot touch. So it is absolutely a mess.
And Kevin Warren, president of the Bears, he was talking about shovels in the ground and In 2024, Saran, I know that you've been through this very much in the stadium location and moving. With the wave of inflation, I mean, I know the inflation of eggs, milk, and bread. Think of the inflation on steel over the last number of months. Like, you have to cost yourself tens of millions of dollars

To be 36-31 is pretty spectacular, including putting the Cubs over their knee in two out of three at the rate. It is well-earned. It is well-deserved for Sox fans because it has been a long number of years. And if you look at the history of the organization being owned by Jerry Reinsdorf, you have to be really, really happy for White Sox fans. Kansas City probably isn't. Royals fans aren't.
