In this episode, we try a new approach. This episode is for both property investors and their tenants. We talk through the options tenants have if they legitimately can't pay rent. The idea is that property investors and property managers can share this with tenants if they're struggling. For instance, we talk about the Work and Income Rent Assistance, which can be used by some tenants to help make up their payments. We also mention the check.msd.govt.nz calculator, which can give you a sense of the benefits that you may be eligible for.
