Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
This is The Sounding Board Podcast with Hachi and Damo. Thanks to DrinkWise. If you're choosing to have a drink, choose to DrinkWise.
Hello and welcome to the sounding board scorecard for DrinkWise. If you're choosing to drink, choose to DrinkWise. My name's Sam Watson and I've got eight statements for Hutchie and Damo to rate out of ten. And just a reminder, I don't always agree or disagree with these statements. Oh, the head washing.
As we get further away from World War I, it's inevitable that Anzac Day will gradually lose significance. Zero. Zero. off the back of the Michael biopic on Michael Jackson. A documentary owes you the full truth. A biopic does not. Seven? Yeah, it's interesting. Seven. Reality star turned podcast host Abby Chatfield is hosting Kiss FM's breakfast show this week.
Keeping her around for the long term would be a smart move by ARN. Three. I've never done this. Pass.
Four.
There should be a Saturday morning footy show on Channel 7, Channel 9 or Fox Footy. Zero. Six. Essendon and Collingwood should not have exclusive rights to the traditional Anzac Day clash at the MCG. Zero.

Chapter 2: What are Hutchy and Damo's thoughts on the significance of Anzac Day?
Zero. The major F1 grandstand is yet to come down at Albert Park. We shouldn't be surprised if the Victorian government and the Australian Grand Prix Corporation are sneakily trying to condition us to more permanent infrastructure going forward. Six.
After going viral for his views on Australia's inability to capitalize on its riches of natural resources, Hutchie should consider a career move into politics. Nine. Zero. And off the back of their reporting on New England coach Mike Rabel, it's safe to say the New York Post has done more damage to the Patriots than the New York Jets ever have. Eight.
Chapter 3: How do Hutchy and Damo rate the Michael Jackson biopic?
Ten. That's very good. Great question. Oh, good. I think you should own those questions. Great question. All of them. Very good. Doubly.
Well done.
Not too political. He laid in bed and thought of those.
At 6.07?
Chapter 4: What is Abby Chatfield's impact on KIIS FM's breakfast show?
Doubly. Tachi, why is the grandstand not yet down at Albert Park? Well. I think they're still shutting lanes of it. We need a permanent facility there. It costs like ridiculous money to ship. It's public land, Tachi. For public use year round. What are they going to do? Go and sit up in the stand? Watch the bike riders go past.
Yeah.
There's a lot of sports infrastructure that happens. Sit up in the stand and watch the crime go on. There's a lot of sports infrastructure that happens under those grandstands, don't forget. No, there's not.
Chapter 5: Should there be a Saturday morning footy show on Channel 7 or Fox Footy?
There is. There's community sport and basketball. Yeah, but you don't need a grandstand above it. I understand that. And I've had kids who've played sport out of those little facilities. I would leave it there year round. Of course you would. That's where the corporate dollar is.
Just on Essendon Collingwood, I understand it's lost a lot of lackluster in a contest because Essendon is so bad and has been for 20 years. But to its credit, it still managed to play in a game of football that had 92,500 people in attendance. And I know that maybe even without Essendon being there, there might be 80,000, but I still feel they deserve the right. You have the same view, I think?
Yeah. I passed on Abby Chatfield. I just don't, I know she's polarizing. I have nothing against Abby.
I don't either.
I just think there'll be a bigger profile show that comes. For her or someone else? For her, I mean. Yeah, okay. Yeah, I just don't, again, I've never listened to her and the question was not directed at me. The biopic in the documentary, not a bad little statement there from Dublin.

Chapter 6: What are the implications of the F1 grandstand at Albert Park?
I'm going to go and see Michael on hopefully Sunday. Okay. It took 217 minutes at the box office on the weekend in the US.
Wow.
Biggest biopic release in history. But there's no reference at all. Is that right?
Nah, yeah. That's kind of what was framed.
Which apparently was the case in the stage show that was in Melbourne.
It might still be running for all I know, but over summer and... But I think it's actually a legal reason that it's not mentioned. Okay. Not necessarily.
There's a lot of legalities around what can and can't be done. They reshot the last scene, for instance.
Yeah, it was delayed by a year. The whole third act of the film was cut out, I believe.
Well, that was... That was all over it. He was, yeah. And he tried to wash his hands of those very good statements for the scorecard, for the sounding board for Drinkwise. If you're choosing to drink, choose to Drinkwise.
