Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
This is the Sounding Board Podcast with Hutchie and Damo. Thanks to Drinkwise. You won't miss a moment if you drink wise.
Hello and welcome to the Sounding Board Scorecard for Drinkwise. You won't miss a moment if you drink wise. My name's Sam Watson and I've got eight statements for Hutchie and Damo to rate out of ten. In the future, the AFL should avoid playing games at the same time as Socceroo's World Cup matches. Two. Eight.
It's outrageous that the boss of an organisation like FIFA can go three years without holding a press conference. Seven. Pass. It's only a matter of time until hydration breaks become a standard feature across all professional soccer. Ten. Ten. Took this one from Mark Stevens on Twitter. It was referred to in the main body.
Mike Sheehan should not only be invited to the Australian Football Hall of Fame dinner, he should be in it. Three. Ten. Bit of a left of center one here. It should be illegal for charities who only accept recurring credit card payments to set up outside places like supermarkets.
Chapter 2: What issue arises from AFL and Socceroos' games clashing?
I hate that. I had to absorb the statement. I'm giving that a 9, W. Oh, so annoying. 1.
The MCC are cracking... Don't bring your vendettas here.
No, I like this. There's a bit of Jane about this. I like this.
The MCC are cracking down on members reserving seats by draping scarves, jackets and blankets over them. It's about time. Is this the pool situation, is it? Yeah, 8. 9. 10. Paul Dowsley deserves a raise from Channel 7 after this effort at a Jacinta Allen and Ben Carroll press conference earlier in the week. I want to serve Jacinta Allen.
Are you going to try and get the Premier's job tomorrow? No. Are you going to ask her to step aside? No. Can you look her in the eye and say that? I can look you in the eye and say that, Premier. Paul Dowsley, 7 News. Mike Putters.
He's offering comments now, aren't you, Dudley?

Chapter 3: Why are hydration breaks becoming standard in professional soccer?
He got them to look each other in the eye. It was amazing. It was great journalism.
You give your rating then, Dudley. What was yours?
Ten. Yeah, it's a ten. That's a great effort. I'm giving it an eight. Nine. And lastly, putting politics aside, the UFC's event on the White House front lawn was an amazing spectacle.
Two. Ten.
Chapter 4: What does Mike Sheehan's Hall of Fame invitation signify?
Ten. Massive ten. Ten. It was an incredible spectacle. Did it work?
Yeah.
It was incredible. Was it? Celebrating 250 years in America. Unbelievable.
Chapter 5: How do charity payment methods affect fundraising?
Oh, that's what we're doing in that moment. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was. Oh, please.
It was a loss later for the UFC. They lost 60 men. Oh, they spent 60 men on it. Really? U.S. Dowsley, great question. And good camera work as well. I don't know who the camera was, but he got both of them in the shot.
And what about the sign-off was all part of it too. Like he just seamlessly went to the sign-off.
You know what I thought about with the camera shot, by the way, just to digress. I suspect the cameraman knew that question was coming because we was framed on a two. I'm not sure you're on a two shot in that situation organically. I think it's make sure at the end of the year you get the reaction, the wide shot. And it was a great cameraman. It might have been my man Damien Shine, I think.
Very good. The old MCC jumper routine. Yeah, fair enough.
That's the pool recliner lounge, isn't it, at the hotel resorts? I'm supportive, yes.
I'm supportive of charities. I can't believe that Dudley takes offense to charities.

Chapter 6: What are the implications of the MCC's seat reservation rules?
No, it's the way they're doing it. It was a recurring credit card payment reference. I know, Hutch, you probably wouldn't walk into supermarkets that often. Whoa. No, no, no.
He's really loosened up, doesn't he? I like it.
Yeah, when he's in America, let it go. No, they won't accept dollar coin donations or $10 notes. They have to put in your credit card details. It's ridiculous.
I'm with him, Hutchie. This happened to me a couple of months ago too.
Hydration breaks. I'm with you.

Chapter 7: Why should Paul Dowsley be recognized for his recent efforts?
The FIFA boss, I thought about a pass given where I told her. It's a reasonable question to ask.
I gave it a 10 or whatever I gave it. Tell me why you don't think the AFL should be playing games at the same time.
The reason I didn't give it a 10 is I have empathy for how hard it is. It's near impossible, one. And two, you're beholden to the broadcaster and for argument's sake, Channel 7 or Foxtel who don't have the walk-up whistle would go, turn it up. You're here to serve our needs, not the community. So I get both of those things. But if there is a way to do it, then being a bit creative around it,
on a flexi center was probably worth thinking about might not be possible
Well, they don't move games once they are initially fixed. And I know they would have had a line of sight on these World Cup games prior to locking in their own fixture. I get that. But equally, you've just got to, as a rule, get nine games away over three or four days. And it's, yeah, there's certain time zones and time slots that need to be ticked off. So, yeah, I'm not as big on it.
I get why people raise it as an issue, Hutchie, but I'm not as big on it as a major talking point. They won't have an issue with the next game because it's 5am Saturday morning Melbourne time. That was the scorecard for DrinkWise for Sounding Board. You won't miss a moment if you DrinkWise.
