  Deeper in the alien tunnels on Jedi, the team forces their way past sealed stone doors and into a vast crypt, where carefully laid-out bodies, strange grave goods, and preserved food stores reveal more about the long-dead six-limbed civilization. As Whisper studies causes of death and the group collects samples, it becomes clear that whatever ended this culture wasn’t simple decay or time. When they finally encounter a living native lifeform, the moment of discovery comes with a cost: unexpected biological side effects and a surge of protective instinct that throws Shrike off balance just as the environment itself becomes more dangerous. With pressure traps, rising oxygen, and a wounded alien creature in their care, the gatecrashers are forced to make hard choices about what—and who—they can afford to bring back before the gate closes. About the Chronicle Eclipse Phase – Better on the Inside is a gatecrashing campaign using Eclipse Phase Second Edition, following a small team of transhumans sent to explore a newly discovered tunnel complex beyond a Pandora Gate. The series leans into what Eclipse Phase does best: strange worlds, risky missions, and the blurred line between scientific discovery and existential horror.
