He's also General Editor of the Review of Industrial Organization and the author of numerous articles and books on industrial organization, antitrust, general regulation, and financial & bank regulation. He has also held a number of senior government positions: Senior Staff Member of the Council of Economic Advisors, Member of the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, and Chief Economist at the Antitrust Division at the Department of Justice.
