Episode 41: Coaching Approaches: Neuroscience in Coaching

Firstly, just to be clear, we are not neuroscientists! However, we do know that having some awareness of key elements of neuroscience can help us to support our clients well.    In this episode we explore our understanding of the disciplines that underpin neuroscience and the complex nature of the interactions of a number of different elements of our physiological neural make-up. We take a look at how we might use some awareness of the brain and body's reactions to events and how we might conduct a little neuro-education with our coachee around the topic.    In this very brief overview of neuroscience, we provide a taster on the subject to whet your appetite so that you are inspired to explore the subject further.    We also share our thoughts on the very limited number of neuroscience research studies available to us involving coaches and what they might be telling us.      Enjoy the podcast?
