After 25 years of marriage, I found myself living alone and facing the rest of my life as a solo. I thought I wanted to find another partner, but honestly, I spent more time worrying about what it would be like to grow old alone than actually going out and meeting men. It’s always interesting to see where we focus our time.I won’t say learning to live alone & being happy was easy, but I mucked my way through it, made lots of mistakes, but I’ve also learned a lot….and experienced much happiness. But, I didn’t find true happiness while living alone until I finally got to that place when I realized that we can only really be happy in the moment, that happiness isn’t a goal you work towards like a job, a particular house, a certain kind of connection. Happiness isn’t going to suddenly appear when you get what it is you think you want.I found that happiness only happens when we realize it’s a state of mind. Living alone doesn’t have to mean you are lonely and unhappy. That stereotypical older spinster with her multitude of cats and overgrown garden is long gone. In fact, the number of women who are living alone has significantly grown over the past two decades and seems to continue to be growing. But living alone and being happy, isn’t a given, and that is what we are going to talk about in this video.//WHEN YOU’RE READY, HERE’S HOW I CAN HELP YOUFREE SUBSCRIPTION TO EXTRAORDINARY WOMEN MAGAZINEhttps://www.extraordinarywomenmagazine.com/SCHOOL OF JOIE DE VIVREhttps://www.extraordinarywomenmagazine.com/programAPPLY TO BE FEATUREDhttps://extraordinarywomenmagazine.com/contribute/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/extraordinarywomenmagazine/
