There is nothing worse than being greeted with a large flashing question-mark folder on your Mac or a Windows boot error. I talk about his backup stradegy of 3-2-1 (three copies of the data, on two different local devices and one being in a different location). For the cloud-based backup, I use Backblaze. It's relatively inexpensive and unlimited space.
