PISCES on Coffee: A Conversation on Purusing Relationships
28 Mar 2022
SUMMARY Brian and Michael discuss the work of Infinite Watches, a company that makes watches with a focus on sustainability and environmentalism. They talk about how the company is doing well and how their products are popular with consumers. Brian compliments Infinite Watches on their good work and then the conversation turns to other topics. The person being interviewed has chosen not to pursue women, and they say that this is a conscious choice. They explain that they noticed that nobody in their life that they pursued still wanted to be around them, and that this made them realize that it is better to be around someone who values their time and attention. They say that they still love women, but they don't know what to do. The conversation is about the differences between men and women in terms of relationships. The woman says that she has noticed that the times when she has pursued a man, it has only pushed him away. She says that most of what we have been taught about men and women is opposite of what actually works. The man says that in a real relationship, the woman should bring more to the table than just her looks and sex appeal. The woman across the country from Utah didn't have very many girlfriends, and her energy was very masculine. She loved to dance and share videos of herself dancing, usually in feminine clothes. One time, she put on a very feminine dress and shared a video of herself dancing in it. And I now know this because I've listened to a lot of stuff and you've been tested. This comes back to what we were talking about with pursuing or getting attached or wanting to be in a relationship or to be in committed. That's a fine line because a lot of times when you're doing that, you are actually stepping out of your masculine. And when I see someone with long hair, I'm just like, good on you. It's like a real woman still exists kind of thing. Probably how they feel about a man. This is in my point of view of our current dating culture. The women are wondering all the way all the men good went. The men are scared to kiss the girl. In a way in our current culture, I'm going to put the real problem with many of the relationships on the men for not standing up and being men. I'm not going to say it's their fault either because I feel like our society has been grooming us to be feminine and beta and all this stuff.
