Maureen Towey is a multi-talented director and producer working across artistic mediums. She has worked as a Creative Director for Grammy award-winning musicians, and as the Senior Producer for "The Daily 360" at the "New York Times". Towey has also worked as a contributing photo editor at "The New York Times Magazine" where she produced ten short films for their Great Performers series, starring Melissa McCarthy, and Lily Tomlin. Maureen came onto my radar when another Zestful Aging guest, Carol Bradley Bursack, circulated Maureen's short film "The 8th Year of the Emergency", in which a family reckons with their mother's cognitive decline. She's also been involved in initiatives to improve elder care. Find out more about Maureen on MaureenTowey.com. Find out more about the Zestful Aging Podcast at ZestfulAging.com.
