Today we welcome Cassidy Skelton, a mental health enthusiast, who is passionate about - normalising the mental health conversation. Cass blew up on Tik Tok sharing honest and raw stories about her family's history of mental health, gaining custody of her younger sister (yes becoming sole guardian overnight) and her experience of spending a weekend in the cells. Cassy brings a light & vibrant attitude towards talking about the hard stuff, which is bloody inspiring. She is motivated to share how her routines & rituals keep her afloat during challenging times and encourages others to start small and build slowly, creating a buffet of tools if you will. The state of mental health in New Zealand is astonishing, I hope this conversation helps you feel less alone in your journey. Trigger warning.
