2017年現在、江陵(カンヌン)は朝鮮時代を代表する儒学者、栗谷(ユルゴク)李珥(イ・イ)とその母親である申師任堂(シン・サイムダン)の生まれ故郷として知られています。しかし、美しい自然が広がる江陵には、この他にも多くの歴史的な人物の足跡が残っています。朝鮮時代の天才的な文人姉弟、許蘭雪軒(ホ・ナンソルホン)と許筠(ホ・ギュン)の生家の跡を訪ね、そしてこの二人の父親である許曄(ホ・ヨプ)が作ったと伝えられる草堂(チョダン)豆腐を味わいます。
