《中国民主季刊》2024年第一季杂志完整版：https://chinademocrats.org/?p=2467 在《中国的左右之争在争什么？》（《中国民主季刊》2023年第3期笔谈）中，荣剑说：“新左理论庞杂宏大，在‘三观’ 上与欧美左翼有许多交集，汪晖在欧洲多次获大奖，是欧洲左翼对其理论认可的证明。但欧洲左翼没有充分意识到的是， 中国新左派已经全面转向对国家主义的支持，其反对西方现代性的一系列理论表述已经转化为反对西方宪政民主制度及其价值观的立场，中国新左派已经完全背离了欧洲左翼一贯坚持的价值观， 堕落为国家主义的附庸”。我认为，荣剑没有认清中华人民共和国的性质。大陆中国实行的不是国家主义而是党国主义。中国新左派已经全面转向对“党国主义”的支持，堕落为“党国主义”的附庸。
