有关中国民族主义的讨论自 1990 年代开始逐渐成为当代中国政治、社会和文化的一个热点。从世界近现代历史来看，建立在种族优越感之上的民族主义一向是大国——尤其是后起的大国——用来动员民众的意识形态利器。在这个意义上，民族主义和种族主义在逻辑上密切相关。激进的、极端的民族主义一方面自我神化，认为自己是独特的、优秀的人种，另一方面又宣称自己作为优秀的种族受到其他强大种族的歧视、嫉妒和打压，不但是世界争霸史上的受害者，甚至受到弱小和低劣种族的欺凌。当代中国的民族主义（或者叫爱国主义）在这个意义上并不例外。近些年来，在官方宣传和民间心理上形形色色的中华民族优越论可以说司空见惯，实际上宣扬的是种族主义。本文揭示的就是一个具体案例。 点击下载全文或《中国民主季刊》2024年第四季完整版：https://chinademocrats.org/?p=4230
