摘要：绝大多数学人目前还在使用传统的左右二分法，只不过一些人以左为政治正确以右为政治错误，另一些人则相反。本文采用国际上通用的极右、中右、中左、极左四分法，对当代中国的思想政治状况和谱系进行分析，得出了诸多既不同于官方也不同于大多数自由民主派的结论，尤其针对自由民主派中出现的相当严重的极右化倾向和趋势，进行了善意、严肃的剖析和针砭。 去年年底，荣剑发表了“左翼问题批判导论”系列文章，张千帆为之撰写长篇评论，在肯定荣文基本立场的同时也提出了批评。接着，陈天庸对张文的一些观点进行了质疑。 本文将围绕上述争论，展开论述当下中国的左右问题。
