民间有传言说:辣椒可以扩张血管,高血压患者吃辣椒能降血压。真的假的?实际上,关于吃辣和血压之间的关系虽然有些研究,但结论还不是很明确。国际权威学术期刊《细胞-代谢》杂志发表过一篇研究成果:长期膳食辣椒素干预能显著促进内皮依赖的血管舒张。辣椒素不仅可以抑制脂肪合成和预防肥胖, 还可改善血管功能及降低血压。但每天需要食用多少辣椒或者辣椒素才能降低血压,还没有明确的答案,需要进一步研究。另外,国内的一项队列研究也指出:辣椒摄入量与中国成年人患高血压的风险呈负相关,适当吃辣椒可降低高血压的发病风险。即便是抛开研究结论,单就辣椒这种食材本身的营养而言,对于需要控制血压的人群也是建议食用的。不过,更推荐大家选择彩椒和青椒,不仅能够摄入丰富的维生素C,同时它们的钾含量都比较丰富,分别为278mg/100g和154mg/100g。所以,对于有控制血压需求的朋友,可以适当吃辣椒。即便是不喜欢吃辣的,也可以选择口感甘甜的彩椒。
