馬祖的藍眼淚夢幻美景是世界15大自然奇景之一，每年4～9月都吸引大批遊客和攝影愛好者「追淚」。藍眼淚是一種夜光藻（渦鞭毛藻），也有人稱作夜光蟲，另一種會發光的則是星砂，是一種介形蟲，藍眼淚發光時間只有0.8秒，星砂則能發光長達1分鐘。如果想同時看到藍眼淚和星砂，7～9月最好。
