近期，科学家根据临床症状，实验室诊断和宏基因组新一代测序（mNGS），证实了4例人类急性脑炎病例为PRV感染。该研究由华中农业大学陈焕春院士团队王湘如副教授、河南省人民医院神经内科李玮主任、以及河南省动物疫病预防控制中心闫若潜研究员合作完成。目前相关成果已经发表在传染病领域国际权威期刊《临床感染疾病》上。
