医院的泡桐花盛开时,他出院了。通向咖啡店二楼阳台的门扉已经敞开,侍者的服装崭新洁白,大理石痛痛快快地冰凉了他放在阳台桌上的手。他用右手托腮,将右胳膊肘支在扶手上。他的眼睛一味俯视着一个个的行人,仿佛要把他们吸上来似的。人们在蓬勃生机的灯光下,起劲地在人行道上行走。二楼阳台低矮,把手杖伸出去就几乎敲到过往行人的脑袋。“连对季节的感觉,城市和乡下都是相反的,你不觉得吗?乡下人绝不会从灯光的色调来感受初夏的到来。乡下大自然花草树木比人要更多地穿上各个季节的时装,而在城市,人却比大自然更多地展现各个不同季节的时装。许多人就这样在街上行走,制造出初夏的气氛来。你不觉得这条街道就是人的初夏吗?”“人的初夏,倒也是哦。”他一边回答妻子,一边想起医院窗前盛开的泡桐花。
