Originally from Turkey, she moved to the United States to study at Berklee College of Music, where she recently served as the Assistant Chair of the Screen Scoring Department. Aydingoz was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2024 for her cello arrangement of Rolling Stones' "Paint It Black," featured in Tim Burton’s Emmy winning hit Netflix series Wednesday. Her arrangement reached #1 on the Billboard Classical Charts, with over thirty-seven million Spotify plays. Aydingoz's documentary score for Black Barbie premiered at SXSW, and her first feature film Simchas and Sorrows brought her a nomination for the prestigious David Raksin Award for Emerging Talent by the Society of Composers & Lyricists. Aydingoz's film and TV music can be heard on Netflix, Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video, Hallmark, etc., as well as in the archival box set Cinema's First Nasty Women, which was named one of the British Film Institute's top 10 Blu-rays of 2023. Her latest score is from the critically acclaimed Hulu Original film, She Taught Love, which received a limited theatrical run and is streaming now on Hulu in the US and on Disney+ internationally.
