2013 年 12 月，「玉兔号」月球车随嫦娥三号成功登月。姬少亭和她的团队开设微博账号「月球车玉兔」。在此后的972天里，她们将玉兔号打造成一个活蹦乱跳、贪玩、怕冷、偶尔寂寞的大男孩，并拥有了 70 多万的粉丝。2016 年 7 月，玉兔号停止工作，姬少亭的团队也终止了微博更新。但直到今天，仍会有网友留言：想你了兔子。「其实我们都不太想让别人知道是谁做的，这个就跟你知道圣诞老人是隔壁胖叔叔一样无聊。我们希望大家误会他，就觉得这个小机器人自己就是有灵魂的，他就是有他自己的想法……」
