要長一根烏黑亮麗的頭鬆，必須有三個細胞互相協同作用。首先毛乳頭細胞長得好、繁殖得快，頭髮就長得粗壯。角質細胞是負責長髮絲髮幹的部位，角質細胞長得好，頭髮就長得快，可是長出來的不會是黑色，除非黑色素細胞分泌的黑色素運送到角質細胞，角質細胞把黑色素完全吸收，才會長出黑色頭髮。
