“请坐”别再说“Please sit down ”了，这样其实没礼貌

“请坐”的英语表达大家都不陌生英语课上都有过被老师叫起来和坐下的经历：Stand up, please. Sit down, please.中文里的请坐，是“请”在前面所以有时候也会说成Please sit down. 但实际上这种请坐的用法并不礼貌今天一起来了解~01"请坐"该怎么说？sit down可以表达“坐下”但这个短语是比较命令式的大人对孩子说、主人对狗狗下命令这些情况更常用如果想请别人坐下最好不要用sit down，这样不礼貌要表示客气地请坐可以用take/have a seat例：Would the audience please take their seats? The show will begin in five minutes.可以请观众坐下吗？这场秀5分钟后开始。此外，seat可以做动词表示“给…安排座位；使…落座/入座”“请坐”还可以用Please be seated.这个表达比较正式在国外一些餐厅的外面可能会放一块牌子上面写着： Please wait to be seated.请等候入座。02“sit tight ”是什么意思？ ①sit tight = 保持不动，呆着不动例：You'd better sit tight and I'll call the doctor. 你最好呆着别动，我去叫医生。②sit tight = 固执己见，坚持自己的主张例：My parents tried to persuade me not to go alone, but I sat tight. 我的父母试图说服我不要单独前往，但我执意如此。03“sit back”是什么意思？sit back有“向后靠着坐”的意思但更常用来表达“袖手旁观”例：We have two things that we can do. We can help or we can sit back.我们有两个选择，帮助他们，或者是袖手旁观。04sit down with sb sit down with sb除了“和某人坐一起”还可以用来表达：和某人一起讨论；坐下进行交谈例：I'll sit down with my team and let you know the result. 我会和我的团队讨论一下，告诉您结果。也可以直接用名词形式“sit-down”例：Have a sit-down with her and tell her what the problem is. 和她坐下来认真地谈一次，告诉她问题在哪里。
