The yield on the 10-year US Treasury note slipped 6 basis points to 3.99 per cent. The two-year yield, which is particularly sensitive to monetary policy, fell 8bp to 4.46 per cent.Elsewhere, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index was up 2.4 per cent while China’s CSI 300 added 1.2 per cent. The two indices closed 5.2 per cent and 3.6 per cent higher, respectively, on Tuesday.Elsewhere in Asia, Tokyo’s Topix added 0.1 per cent. The pan-regional Stoxx Europe 600 fell 0.3 per cent.
