番組スタートから7年。関東の酪農家が、およそ1,000戸減ってしまいました。そんな中、日本酪農への支援や、さらなる理解の獲得の一環として取り組んでいる、「酪農教育ファーム」や、消費者交流活動も踏まえ、将来の地域・全国活動のあり方を考える「地域交流牧場全国連絡会」が都内で行われ、感染症対策をして参加してきました。会場では、この番組でお世話になった酪農家の方々にもお会いしましたので、現在の厳しい経営状況や、子どもたちの未来のために取り組む「酪農教育ファーム」の意味。さらに、牛と共に酪農家が学校などを訪れる酪農教育ファーム活動「わくわくモーモースクール」の与える効果についてお話を伺いました。
