視覚障害者が、どのような場面で、どんな困難や戸惑いがあるか、どのような手助けがあると心強いか、ということを検証する実験に参加したことがあります。 私は『視覚障害者が一人でビジネスホテルに宿泊する場合』というお題を担当しました。自分でできる少しの工夫、ホテル関係者にスマートにお願いする勇気があれば、ホテルの宿泊も不可能じゃ無いかも！と思える実験でした。
