我明天要去通州水南村去做守护大鸨的志愿者。这已经是我做志愿者的第三个年头了。大鸨是国家一级保护动物。《诗经·鸨羽》中有“肃肃鸨羽，集于苞棘”、“肃肃鸨行，集于苞桑”的诗句，有关“鸨”字的传说是：由于喜欢成群活动，古人认为它们总是集成七十只在一起的群体，所以在描述这种鸟时，用“七十”加上鸟，就组成了“鸨”字。目前全球已不到三万只。据说中国的数量也只有400只左右。保护之责，重于泰山。
