SYUMIGAKUの第35回目のシリーズでは、「失敗の本質 日本軍の組織論的研究（中公文庫）（ 戸部良一他5名, 1991）」について話しました。 本書は、合計6名の著者による第二次世界大戦における日本軍の弱点についての研究をまとめているものです。 戦争を振り返るというと、今後また悲劇を繰り返さないためにはどうするのかという点に焦点が置かれることが多いと思います。本書でもそのことには触れつつ、その上で、なぜ負けたのか？という戦術的、戦略的な欠陥を分析しています。 そして後半では、前半の分析をまとめ直し、現代日本の組織にも散見されるような、組織としての危うさを抽出しています。 台本などは、こちら にまとめています。
